A church management system is the database your church already uses for people, families, and ministry involvement. MinistryGuard connects to it so clearance records stay matched to the right volunteers.
What it does
Syncs people from your ChMS into MinistryGuard, then keeps background checks, CPR, drivers, and insurance on those same profiles.
When someone leaves
If a person is no longer in the ChMS, their MinistryGuard profile is archived. Clearance history is kept, not erased.
What you need
Your ChMS provider must allow API access. This is included on the Ministry and Campus plans.
Compatible providers
MinistryGuard includes people-sync presets for these systems. ACS and TouchPoint endpoints vary by church. Other church management products can connect if they offer a people API.
